We had a great weekend filled with lots of time with friends, great weather, and fun!
Friday night we had our monthly Sunday School Social at "On the Border". We had plans to eat at "Papas and Beer" but to our dismay--they were "booked" when we called Friday afternoon for our reservation. BOO! If you haven't visited this little gem on Haywood Road, we highly recommend it for delicious Mexican food! It was our Pastor's birthday so we of course had to have the staff sing to him and bring out a birthday dessert :) He isn't the type to be embarrassed so he handled it like a champ!
Saturday was spent cleaning around the house, a sweet treat of 32 degrees yogurt, and driving to Lexington for Aly's engagement party. I didn't pull out my camera, but the party was great, Aly looked beautiful and I was able to see many old friends that I hadn't seen in ages. We are so excited for Aly's upcoming Charleston wedding in July!
We started Sunday off at church and Sunday School and immediately headed to Clemson for Pot Belly Deli for lunch and the baseball field for our first game of the season! My dad purchased season tickets this year so I have a feeling we'll be spending many weekend afternoons watching the Tigers.
It was a great weekend and I am so thankful for this beautiful weather! It has definitely given me Spring Fever and I am glad that March is right around the corner.
In "Baby World", Josh and I have started calling "it" by various nicknames including Bug-A-Boo, Boo Boo, Lil Bit...and the list goes on! We have our monthly appointment on Wednesday, beginning with a check-up at Maternal Fetal Medicine to check the "bright spots" and then on to the OB for my glucose test! We are excited to see how much Baby has grown in 4 weeks...a perk at having a 4D ultrasound at Maternal-Fetal. Our prayers this month have been that the calcification will be gone from the heart...we'll keep you posted!
**This was actually written about last weekend--I am a day late and a dollar short these days! Our 24 week appointment went well and according to Dr Dellenger with Maternal Fetal, it's a "perfectly normal baby's heart." Music to our ears and certainly a huge praise for God's provision over us.
