Ivey's 2nd Birthday Party!

We celebrated Ivey's 2nd Birthday Party with her at Gymboree!  Gymbo is Ellie's favorite place (besides the zoo) and she had a blast.

Beach Pictures {HH Part 4}

Final installment of HH pics...I actually took over 600 pictures over the course of the week so it's always hard for me to narrow down my favorites.  

 Ellie's first bikini--mom bought her this and I was not thrilled about a 2-pc on my baby but I have to admit it made changing diapers SO easy!  {and I really did love it on her}

 Her hair stayed in a state of curly q's.  My favorite.

 We took pictures on the beach one night--ours always turn out so wind blown and looking exhausted since it is the end of the week.  

I've had this little dress in her closet since she was a couple of months old--I knew it would look beautiful for beach portraits and it did except the collar flapping in the wind!

Harbor Town/Coastal Museum {HH 3}

We attempted multiple times to get a great shot of Ellie and the Harbor Town Lighthouse--just didn't happen with our non smiley child last week.  {I have come to the realization that she is just like me and a total homebody--she has been the most pleasant child to be around since we have been home.  Praying this is just a phase so all future vacations are not doomed!}

 On Wednesday we visited the coastal museum for a talk and up close view of different types of animals.  She was only allowed to touch the reptiles--all mammals she had to just look at.

 She took petting the animals gently very seriously.  The lady with the animals told her she was so brave and she is--absolutely no fear.

 The condo that we rented was on the 18th hole of the Harbor Town golf course so we tried yet again one night to get a lighthouse pic.  She just wanted to run the course but it was still a beautiful night!

Beach loving girl {Hilton Head 2}

Ellie LOVED the beach this year.  She was happy as a clam when we were in the sand and the surf.  She actually let the ocean water get her face wet and didn't seem to mind one bit.

 She loved having her sunglasses around her neck throughout the week...just like daddy
