Christmas Eve

A few pictures from before a little Christmas party one of her friends hosted.  She looked so sweet but she didn't feel well at all and didn't last long before she asked to leave.  This was the Sunday before Christmas and a foreshadowing of the stomach bug that she and I got on Tuesday.  Yuck, yuck, yuck...it wasn't a fun way to spend the first week of Christmas break.

We spent christmas Eve night at church for candlelight service and dinner.  It's always one of my most favorite services of the year and E and T loved lighting the candles and singing "Silent Night".

After church we came home and quickly spread the reindeer food and read "Night Before Christmas" and got the critters in bed.  They were so amped up for Santa I never thought they would calm down (specifically Ellie).

Pink Pig and Tea with Santa

We don't make it to Atlanta every Christmas but we love it when we do!  The Pink Pig is always a fan favorite !

The big girls rode by themselves in the front this year
and then the girls had tea with Santa at the St Regis hotel - it was super fancy and lots of fun. The hotel was decorated beautifully for christmas.

sending a little note Santa's way

Ellie skipped tea and chose a hot chocolate instead
sweet Santa was wonderful and spent lots of time with the children - Ellie's wish list thankfully never strayed from Hatcnhimal and Kit's bed.  Thomas asked Santa for a trash truck and a flashlight.
Santa told Ellie she was on the nice list so far...

 After the sugar rush craze!

Christmas Cookie Class

One of our favorite discoveries recently has been cooking classes at Plate 108 in Greer.  Ellie loves taking the classes and her buddy Ivey always joins in for double the fun!
This class was her favorite one yet - they rolled out cookie dough and cut the cookies out with cutters, baked them, and then decorated.

E looked like a peppermint for school!
 sweet picture from T's teacher.
Kids saw each other in the hall and Silvey sent me some pics
They can aggravate the snot out of each other but they do love each other fiercely.

Ellie had a date with daddy to go see Charlie Brown Christmas
Thomas and I had a date and read Little Blue Truck Christmas
Ellie and Snoopy - she loves, loves, loves meeting the characters

hehehehe - I just love this picture of her and Charlie Brown.  HAPPY AS A LARK.

Friday night we had our annual Christmas movie and tent
Daddy and Thomas went downtown Saturday
While E and I went to her christmas cookie decorating class - the best class yet!  she loved it

Saturday night Josh and E went to the Clemson basketball game and got to meet Jaron Blossingame - he also gave E one of his jerseys!  So fun and a special memory!
We wrapped up this crazy week with church on Sunday
Sunday afternoon we had a birthday party for baby Jesus at church - Thomas chose his own accessories.  Yeesh.
