What is your favorite breakfast food?  muffins

What is your favorite snack?  crackers

What is your favorite outfit?  soft dresses

What is your favorite toy? my babies

Who is your best friend? Ava and Claire

Surprisingly enough -- a lot of her answers were the same as last year!  None of the above surprised me except for Valentine's Day.  When I asked her her favorite holiday she said "the beach" -- which made me laugh because it shows how much she loves Peppa Pig, as they refer to holidays as vacations!

Carl Sandburg Home

We try to make a field trip every year to see the baby goats in Flat Rock, NC at the Carl Sandburg home.  It's just a skip and a hop from Greenville and always funs to make a little day trip!

 Ellie insists on accessorizing every place we go.  Necklaces and bracelets -- the whole shebang.

Soccer Saturdays

Ellie had a much improved soccer season this year!  Daddy coached her team and she had some of her best friends playing with her and it made all the difference in the world.  No tears and she ran her heart out and was willing to try and kick the ball in the middle of the pack.

 When E sat out a quarter, Thomas ran over to her and they would play until it was time for her to go back in.

 and when it was time to go back in....tears, tears, tears from Tom Tom.  Ellie is hands down his favorite person in the world.

 We celebrated the end of the season with an awards banquet at Fuddruckers -- had to get a picture with Jake (her best bud from 2k).

Waterfall Junction

Riverbanks Zoo just opened a new addition to the Botanical garden area, called Waterfall Junction.  We met some friends there after we picked strawberries and it was amazing.  I foresee many summer days spent here!  We are so blessed to have such an amazing zoo so close to us.

 Ellie and Thomas both loved, loved, loved the splash pad area.  There is also a lily pad leaping area, dinosaur dig, a vegetable garden, and an awesome grassy area to blow bubbles.  Highly recommend making a trip there if you're close enough!
